Terms & Conditions
BOOKING CONDITIONS
Upon confirmation of a booking Scarleo Holidays Private Limited requires 50% advance payment which needs to be paid within 1 week of confirmation. If the advance payment hasn’t been made that time this will result in cancellation of the booking.
Balance payment must be paid 40 days prior to arrival date.
If booking is made within 40 days of arrival date, full payment is required at the time of confirmation.
Advance payment and your written confirmation will indicate an acceptance of these terms and conditions.
PAYMENT METHODS
Payments can be made either by:
- Bank transfer (senders bank charges must be covered by the client)
- Paypal
If you fail to meet the payment deadlines stated to you, we reserve the right to cancel your tentative booking and will inform you of this.
Notes
The prices stated in your tour package are subject to the possibility of changes beyond the control of us and may come about due to increments of government taxes, exchange rate fluctuations.
The main foreign currency used across Sri Lanka is US dollars and this is the currency we use when quoting for services.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Amendments can be made to your package if informed to us in advance.
Any cancellations must be notified to us in writing. The below penalties will apply depending upon the number of days to the start of your tour:
Off Peak Bookings
30 days or less – 100% of full tour cost will be charged
Peak Bookings
40 days less– 100% of full tour cost will be charged
The cancellation policy for certain boutique hotels vary and the applicable cancellation policy from the particular boutique hotel will apply.
No refund will be given for cancellations after the start of the tour package or for any unused services
TRAVEL INSURANCE
You are advised to get travel insurance for all members of travel party.
BREAKAGES AND DAMAGE
You will be responsible for any breakages, losses or damage caused by you or a member of your party during your stay in the accommodation. It is your responsibility to put right the damage or to make full payment to the supplier before departure.
COMPLAINTS
If there are any complaints this must be notified to us at your earliest and we will do our best to resolve the complaint immediately.
If the complaint cannot be resolved immediately you must follow this up in writing within 30 days of the end of the tour.
We always try to improve our services and therefore your feedback is very important to us. Thus the reason we give out the feedback questionnaire at the end of your tour.
