Day 1
Route: Airport > Negombo
Drive Time: Approx: ½ hr
Upon arrival you will be greeted by your chauffeur guide. Thereafter proceed to Negombo.
Negombo is a famous fishing village located north of Colombo with easy access to the airport.
In the evening go on a Negombo sightseeing tour.
Have dinner out at one of the many dining options available.
Return to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2
Route: Negombo > Kosgoda > Hikkaduwa
Drive Time: Approx 3 hrs
After having breakfast you will be driven along the south west coast, one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. Sri Lanka is the proud owner of a stunning unspoiled coastline and it is along this that you will make your journey.
En-route visit a Turtle Hatchery in Kosgoda.
The waters around Sri Lanka are teeming with sea life. Five out of the seven types of sea turtles call nest on Sri Lanka’s beaches. All of them are on the endangered list. The centre functions mainly as a hatchery and makes huge efforts to increase the rate of hatching, and survival of baby turtles in their very initial stages. They also treat sick or injured adults; treating them and releasing them back into the ocean.
In the evening go on a glass bottom boat ride. A breath taking sight, admire the world ‘under the sea’ from a vantage point unlike any other.

Day 3 & 4
Route: Hikkaduwa
Breakfast at the hotel and time for diving!
Due to the monsoon seasons, the best time to go diving and snorkeling in Hikkaduwa is between November and April so that the water is calm and you are assured that no unexpected currents will threaten you.
The rest of the day is to be spent at your own leisure – lounging on the best beaches that the South has to offer
Day 5
Route: Hikkaduwa > Galle > Unawatuna
Drive Time: Approx 45 mins
Having morning breakfast you will be driven up to the beach town of Unawatuna, which like Hikkaduwa is home to stunning beaches, excellent diving sites and beach nightlife unlike any other in the country.
Your first stop will be Galle’s 17C Dutch Fort, a UNESCO world Heritage Site.
Many hours can be spent exploring the maze of narrow roadways lined with Dutch and British Colonial era buildings that are still in use, sturdy ramparts overlooking Galle’s international cricket stadium, and scattering of shops, art galleries, museums, boutique hotels and cafes.
Sip tea in one of the charming old cafes, stop to chat with the Forts inhabitants may whom have lived there for generations and stand on the ramparts to take in the unbelievable view of the Indian Ocean.
Have lunch at a restaurant in the fort.
Thereafter continue to Unawatuna and check in to the hotel
Spend rest of the day nearby to the beautiful beach in Unawatuna.

Day 6
Route: Unawatuna
After a hearty breakfast, enjoy a day of diving in the Unawatuna cost which in turn will thrill and excite you with its watery depths.
Spend the rest of the day at leisure on the beach experiencing a tropical lifestyle.

Day 7
Route: Unawatuna > Tissamaharama
Drive Time: Approx: 4 hrs
After breakfast you will be driven further down the coast to Tissamaharama. En route witness a curious feature – the stilt fishermen of Weligama who carefully balance themselves before casting their fishing lines. Their balance, patience and concentration is a sight to behold.
In the afternoon jeep safari to Yala National Park and experience the best of the wildlife it has to offer.
Yala is the most famous national park in Sri Lanka and is also known worldwide for its highest density of leopards anywhere in the world. Yala also has the highest densities of mugger crocodiles in the world. During a safari at Yala some of the wildlife you can see/ not limited to are; Leopards, Sloth Bear, Asian Elephants, Mugger Crocodiles, Wild Boar, Spotted Deer, Sambhur, Wild Buffalo, Mongoose and many other animals. Some of the birds that can be seen are Painted Stork, Malabar Pied Hornbill, Lesser Adjuntant and Black-necked Stork.
Return back to your hotel for a scrumptious dinner.

Day 8
Route: Tissamaharama > Kirinda > Tissamaharama
After breakfast take the short drive to Kirinda for your final diving session of the tour.
Kirinda is best known as a base from which to experience some excellent diving at the famous ‘Great Basses’ wreck and the Great and Little Basses reefs (southeast of Kirinda).
For the intrepid SCUBA diver, this is a rare glimpse into an underwater paradise and adventure diving in its finest form.
You can see ancient ship wrecks, limestone caves, prolific reef fish, passing pelagic’s, fierce surge and strong currents.
Due to the rough currents around Kirinda you can dive in the sea only about 50 days in a year, between March and mid-April. **For experienced divers only**
Return back to your hotel and enjoy a pool swim in the evening.

Day 8
Route: Tissamaharama > Colombo
Drive Time: Approx: 6 hrs
Enjoy your last breakfast at the hotel.
Thereafter leave for the commercial capital Colombo via Ratnapura for your final night in Paradise.
Ratnapura is famously known as the ‘City of Gems’ and in the museums or many of the workshops, you will get to see an array of precious stones like rubies, sapphires, topaz, garnets, etc. The city hosts several private gem museums and gem cutting centres which also operate as sales outlets.
In the evening go on a Colombo sightseeing tour.
Have an authentic Sri Lankan meal for your last dinner in the country.

Day 9
Route: Colombo > Airport
Drive Time: Approx: 1 hr
Enjoy your breakfast and say goodbye to lifelong memories.
Transfer to the airport for departure.
